Booking a Party or Soft Play Toy Hire
Terms and Conditions for Booking a Party or Soft Play Toy Hire
1. Deposit:
To book soft play hire or party decorations, a 50% deposit from the total amount is required to secure your date. This deposit is non-refundable.
2. Payment:
Full payment must be made 14 days before the event date. Payments can be completed via bank transfer or card.
3. Cancellation & Refunds:
Refunds (minus the deposit) are possible if cancellations are made at least 14 days prior to the event.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable. However, rescheduling to a new date can be discussed (subject to availability) in cases of sickness or unusual circumstances.
4. Changes to Event Details:
Requests to change the event date, location, or start time must be made at least 7 days before the event. While we will do our best to accommodate, availability cannot be guaranteed for changes made after this period.
5. Adding Extras:
Any additional services or extras must be requested at least 7 days before the event date.
6. Equipment Collection & Delivery:
Hire equipment can be collected free of charge or delivered for an additional fee (depending on location).
7. Equipment Inspection:
All hire equipment and decorations will be inspected before being handed over to the hirer.
8. Bond Payment:
The bond payment is required before the event and is used to cover any potential damage, breakage, loss, or failure to return items. The bond amount will vary depending on the size of the soft play package and combination of decorations hired.
9. Bond Refund:
The bond is fully refundable if all items are returned in good condition without any damage. If items are returned damaged, a portion or the full bond may be withheld, depending on the condition of the returned items.
10. Bond Return Timeline:
The bond refund will be processed within 14 days of item return.
11. Late Returns:
If items are not returned on time, a late fee of $50 per hour will apply beyond the agreed return window.
12. Non-Return of Items:
If items are not returned or if the hirer cannot be reached for collection on the agreed day and time, the items will be considered stolen and reported to the police.
13. Wet Weather Plan:
We do not deliver soft play equipment unless there is a safe, undercover location available. In the case of wet weather, rescheduling is an option (subject to availability).
14. Liability:
Cute Party Hire cannot be held liable for any injuries. The safety and supervision of all party attendees and the use of hire equipment are the full responsibility of the hirer.
